Congrats on that. You should join us for beer :30 at barker sometime in season. Alot of the Sr reg board members hang together. A bunch of us are actually will be mulling around this weekend.

Thank you. My wife and I plan to head up as much as we can (when the place isn't rented) and we would enjoy meeting some of the regulars.

Belleayre, of course, cuz the friends are there, the daughter is in the race prog, the lines are usually short, and maybe it will still be comparatively inexpensive....

There are no places to hang out at night. Just a few dive pubs in Pine Hill, Fleishmanns & Margaretville. And if you want a nice place, there is Peekamoose. For hanging out after skiing at Bell, I suggest you bring your own family, friends, food & beer. And don't expect any decent TV or Internet - so bring your DVD player and some ski movies (I DVD'ed the entire summer Olympics for Catskills evening viewing).

i really liked snowbasin. i have only been there for two days. me and the group i had chasing me around had a good time. they had really good food at the lodge. we stayed at a friends condo so we kept to ourselvese. so i am not much help beyond the fact we liked the mountain.

Snowbasin is the best run mountain I have ever been on, and the food is fantastic.

If you want "rustic", The barn at Mad River, Betsy Pratt's place. Vicky and Craig have been running it and do a fantastic job there. Rooms are, well quaint but the bar and food is very good. Tell 'em I sent you.
