Mountian Creek in N.J. might be your answer. Closest to N.Y.C. and definatly in the heavy snow band.

Looking at the radar, it looks like New Haven,Conn. is getting the heaviest snowfall right now. Maybe a NELSAP day at Powder Ridge.

Dude's got a foot of fresh heading his way and Greg can't stop talking about bumps.

I surly will be hitting the flat powder on the steepest trail open first thing in the morning (Temptor). Actually, Stinger is steeper overall and for more distance, but that's the seeded bump run. So, I'll chew up the powder on Temptor and then move to the bumps. Sundown is not that big and the powder won't last, but I don't think they'll groom much. In fact, they were probably done grooming a couple hours ago for the night. Should be all powder in the morning.

Yikes, this thing looks like it is toast outside of 495. Was considering Wa but it looks doubtful they will get more than a half foot and likely much of that will get groomed before they open. Much as I love my pow, I can't imagine driving down to Blue Hills for one 300 foot run. That will be completely toast after 1-2 runs being so close to metro and not opening until 9am. Think I may bag the powder and ski locally. You guys in CT look to have the best combo of terrain and snow this weekend. Enjoy it!!

Tough to tell, and hopefully Sundown has more, but looks like only about 4" here....

Lexington only appears to have a couple inches of light snow, though it's snowing moderately. Dunno why the plow guy came by, other than to make some marginal money. I think we got off to a late start, but they are still forecasting for snow through midday.
