This may surprise folks, but unless I am mis-reading the conditions in the second picture, I would pick #1 if I wanted a "bump run". Thin narrow chutes are sensational terrain options. BUT when they get hit hard, the snow gets beat up pretty badly. There are some teeth chattering chutes at MRG that are only good the day of or after a snow storm... in which case it would be powder or packed powder snow instead of strictly "bumps".
So.... as always, I challenge the nature of the question for clarification. I need to know what conditions these runs will be in as featured in the photos which may not tell the entire story. Hard scraped bumps suck it hard and hero bumps on a gentle slope can truly rule. Bump preference for me is entirely dependent upon snow condition. All things being equal.... I would take the terrain option of #2.
