Have not been to Killington in five years and don't think that new management has anything to want me to go back. MRV is a much better option from Boston area

-- how would you compare the Hunter crowds on a weekend with Killington? I've been to Hunter twice and both times the crowds were insane. People always complain about Killington, but I don't think it's that bad. Could just be because we know the mountain pretty well by now, though, and make it a point to be out for first chair.
If they have the most early season terrain available like last year at Thanksgiving I will be there...but mid-season and in the spring..I'm all about Stowe..Killington is 5.5 hours from me..I'd rather drive 6.5 hours and be at Da Bush..or 7 and be at Stowe...
Never again. Wouldn't go with a free ticket.
Then if you get a free ticket can I have it?
Interestingly, the full rate single day lift ticket price is hard to find on their Web site, but it's $76, I believe.
Check that. They seemed to have updated their Web site. A Saturday/Holiday ticket is now $79. :-o
Time to drop an incendiary comment and flee.
I am a professed "wanderer", with no allegiances, who bores easily. Never a pass for me. I've always found a way to make the wandering happen at a discount. 'snip' there are only two resorts in New England that do absolutely nothing for me. Killington and Smugglers.
I've visited both multiple times. If I can't get to the bottom and have a grin on my face, something is wrong. Neither is high on my return-to list.
Anyone feel similarly.
