Easy.
First you call my photos lame.
Then you suggest that I just stand around and talk while you get the best stuff.
The way it is written, those are pretty condescending remarks.

haha.... whatever you want to think.... fine with me... I was just responding to what you yourself said...

But - yes - a ton of pictures showing straight tracks bores me... And makes me think... Why wasn't that person skiing? I'm sure many people were impressed by your pictures! I just find them a bit - well - boring...

Thanks for taking and posting the pics billski, and everyone else. I, for one, appreciate them, and I'm sure a lot of other people who were stuck at work all day do too.

Not everyone can slay it all day. Most do not have the physical stamina and/or ability to hit it hard all day. I am not a camera guy myself and don't like to take my gloves off- for pictures anyway.

Sounds like he had a great time. Could have been one of his biggest

I enjoy the way billski writes his reports. His TR on Blue Hills was wonderful. And his evisceration of Meredith defending WaWa was spot on.

Rock on billski. Keep at it.

I wasn't attempting to eviscerate Meredith. I was making the distinction between a pompous attitude and simple ignorance. Lord knows, I'm probably more ignorant of most things worldly, but I don't see that as an insult. She elected to take it personally. I didn't even go back and finish reading that thread. I must have missed something juicy.

One should give serious thought to the wide-ranging consequences before making your opinions known globally. :spin:

I would have posted a TR from my trip to Mohawk Mountain yesterday, but I got there and they were closed due to weather. (When I left home in the morning, their website said they were open, so they must have made the decision to close sometime during my drive there.) So I gues that "Every day is a snow day at the 'Hawk," except when there's snow.

I went to Butternut instead. Hard to make turns in the natural, wet snow. By 1:00 or so, as the natural snow got skied off, it was more like the groomed conditions that I'm used to, particularly on Pied Piper - Nuthatch, Lucifer's Leap - Hob Nob, and Upper-Lower Applejack.

How much new snow did the nut get before the changeover?

My words, not yours. Your points were very eloquently stated.
