Yikes. They say here: [link]http://www.arizonasnowbowl.com/news/press_releases.html[/link] that they average 360 inches a year, which is more than most Vermont places. The note is dated February 7, and they noted that another terrible year, 99/00, they weren't able to open until February 25, but still managed to get 180 inches and finished strong. Of course, that was three weeks ago and they haven't picked up another inch or come close to opening.

Sounds, sadly, like their season is dead and buried.

I think 360" average a year is more than all VT resorts. For some reason the number 355" I think for Jay sticks out in my mind.

I was just out there 2 weeks ago. I drove through Flagstaff and right past the entrance to the Snow Bowl and it was DRY DRY DRY!!! They have warning signs up all over the place about the fire danger. It's pretty depressing.

Was out in Flagstaff in mid-October and one of the locals said that the high peaks had much less snow than usual at that time. Guess it has carried through.
