Will it be soft tomorrow?

This is in reference to Sunapee or maybe further up.
So, it looks like we're escaping the rain on Saturday, but it will be cloudy. Tonight, the temps in the mountains will drop below 32*F for a few hours, so the surface will freeze a bit and get firm. With no sun, but just the air temps going into the 40's , do you think that the surface will soften up?

I'm hoping that it will, but I'm far from certain. With the sun being out, no problem. No sun, not so sure. I'd like to hit Sunapee for a bit of a mogul work out, but I'd like to evoke the collective memory of this board to venture an educated guess based on your experience.

Sun never came out today at the Bush. Temps in the mid 40s. Soft as could be.

Thanks for stoking the mogul fever here - your picks from Mt. Ellen are just phenomenal. If I had more time tomorrow, I'd drag myself up to Sugarbush, even for a day. Alas, no time so I have to be happy with 1/2 day at Sunapee. If their mogusl are soft, it will be just long enough to shred my quad to bits anyway.
Keep the stoke going!

Be happy you didn't go to Sugarbush today... unfortunate turnaround from yesterday's softness.

It was hard in the AM. Got significantly colder last night than expected.

However........ Cliffs was fantastic in the afternoon! Didn't really soften as a result of temps, but more as a result of traffic. The bumps were a blast! Had a good crew out there.

I'm not sure about the weather, but I was at Sunapee last Sunday and can tell you that the bumps on Chipmunk and Flying Goose were good from 9am on.

The glades though, were hard and icy until the weather warmed up after noon.
