Was up there with the AZ crew last week. Tons of snow up there...even at the base. Given the lack of snow in March and now these warm temps, I daresay that the 'loaf is going to be the go-to place for this spring. Thoughts?

My thoughts: I'm going to become a fixture up there soon enough... Might be daytripping it from my buddy's condo at SR, but I see a few days off and a lot of spillway / Super Quad / Timberline laps in my future.

Hoping to get up there April 24-25th. Maybe next weekend? Guess it is my hedge in case the 'bush does not make it too far into April. But then again 45 minute drive is easier than 5 hours!

I only have one day to ski this weekend, no days next weekend (Fencing tournament).

How did they survive the rain? It looked like Maine got a lot more rain than VT this week!
Not Sugarloaf. They were N and W of most of the rain from what I hear and see.

Killington may go longer this year (and props to them for that). But I can't see them having more terrain than SL open from the 2nd half of this month on.

Lucky bastard! The only thing I regretted about last weekend's trip to the Loaf was that we weren't able to ski the snowfields.
I would love a repeat of the Loaf.
Wouldn't mind mixing it up either though. A VT location probably be a better draw for the NY area Azers.
