I walked in, grabbed my schwag and walked out before it started at the Somerville show last night. If it was the Portsmouth show I would've stayed at least through intermission. Given that it's was an hour and twenty minute ride home, I passed.

Every year I'd like to the Portsmouth show, but it's late November. I intend on using the Kton twofer prior to then....

I liked!

Went to the Worcester show last night with DoubleEject. Looked like a pretty good crowd. Started off with a couple MH Howls and some grub at Brew City. Very good brew. The movie stoked me because of the 90% powder footage. Great theme I thought with Mosely playing the radio host. Made me a little jealous of the films stars and their lifestyles. Living the dream. I think I'm also one step closer to pulling the trigger on AT gear next year. Hung out a little with Powderhound and his patrol buddies from WaWa. Bumped into Wa-Loaf on the way in, said hi, and we went on our way. Good night out last night! Hit up the Ski show in Boston tonight to complete my pre-season training........................

Heh... I was there with Wa-Loaf as well... Think you bumped into him in the two minutes I was trying to enter one of the drawings in the lobby.

It was my first ski flick... I enjoyed it.

I think I'm going to go to HoB in Boston tonight to catch the TGR flick.

not bad

I only stayed until intermission. The BOGO's will be good for my Sunday River 40th birthday weekend in March. I don't need Wa tickets as i patrol there. I will certainly hit PICO for the first time now.
On a side note.....enough with all the heli skiing....We get it already, you're fortunate, sponsored, spoiled athletes. Try to connect with your audience more. 99% of those in attendance will never heli ski or take a ski cruise to the artic circle. Very good camera and editing work but adding a small portion of more realistic skiing would do wonders to make the audience feel connected.

I agree, but with an exception... I've been to the cmh site more than once since that movie...

And want to go to places like telluride now...

Not that I'll ski the same stuff the folks in the movie did... but I'm confident I could still have fun.

p.s. this is my plan for after I win the lottery... That part I'm in full agreement with you on.

Wjennese has a point

I agree that I saw some places I would like to go. But they showed some nice resorts, but were skiing mostly the backcountry and side country stuff for the most part. I would have loved to see a 10 minute section of quality in bounds stuff thats NOT in the terrain park. I know jumps and big air makes for interesting camera shots, but I still think they could take great footage of great skiiers ripping groomers.

Missed the only local WM showing. Should I go see TGR or Matchstick instead? My wife is only willing to go see one...

This. It was a good time. Got to watch some good skiing and some obvious advertising (cough, cough, corona ...)
