I think you are one of the AZer's I've skied quite a few times with...I still remember our day at Magic a few years back. So glad we bagged out on Mt. Snow to go there instead that day.

Good luck with the move and don't be a stranger. One of the nice things about the web is that you're only a keyboard away.

I haven't been out west for 10 years now, but my oldest son will be leaving for college next year and my middle son is close behind. My youngest has become a ski fanatic so I'm going to treat him to a trip out there soon.

Wow, best of luck with your new mile high endevours. Glad I got to ski with you a few times and nice work making the slog all the way up here for that big powder day at Burke last winter  .

I hope to make it out to CO this winter for a ski trip. My sister works at Copper Mtn and it has been 7 years since I last went out there to visit. I'll have to look you up if I go.

That day at Burke may very well have been the best last season...
The wife's great uncle has been a group leader for the over the hill gang @ Copper for many years, it's quite likely we'll end up with the RM superpass this season, we'd love to see you out there :spread:

Thanks Jim! That was my first Magic powder day - been hooked ever since... I'll check in here from time to time I'm sure. Look me up if you're ever out that way!

I wish you well. Sorry to see you go. I hope it works well for you. Sounds like we have a reason to visit you.

Thanks Bob. You will always have a place to visit. Hope to see you and the family on the hill next season!

Sad to see you go. I met you on my first trip ever to Tux and then skied with you at Magic the next season. Hope that everything works well in CO. I hope to visit you someday. May your turns be many and powder-filled, brother!

Not to get defense, I know you're you're just having fun but Keene is a fantastic place to live. There's actual industry and career opportunities available in a small town setting that isn't a sprawling suburban hell. There aren't many situations like this left in the US. And actually not a bad place to be situated for NE skiing: I lucked out moving here. This was not an easy decision.
Love the title and totally understand the blueberries comment, even though I'm not privy to an inside joke.

Decisions to make a move like this don't ever come easy but by the time you make it, its usually the thing that brings you peace.
I made such a move last year, from Michigan to Tahoe, and I am still in the "ahhhh" mode.
Things I miss are:
Michigan Blueberries, Strawberries, Deep Green landscape, Girls night out with my long time gal pals.
But, I can say......Welcome to Northstar, my home mountain, I have world class mt biking out my back door, and the humidity is almost non existent.

Someone with your attitude will be happy no matter where you go.........so.......Go and enjoy!
