Love it! There is a place in P-Town on Cape Cod that specializes in poutine. There traditional take on it was excellent. I also tried their mexican version and that was killer as well. How can you beat fries, cheese, and gravy!?!

Would it be sacreligious to add Bacon to poutine?

PS: perhaps the word Bacon should always be capitalized. As in, what would Bacon do?

Most French Fries suck because they aren't double fried for that perfect blend of tender on the inside, crispy on the outside.

I recently purchased a new deep fryer and the thing is dangerous to have around. Super easy to clean and has an awesome feature; once the oil cools, it automatically gets filtered and drained into a container that stores right under the unit for the next use. No pouring the oil through cheese cloth into tupperware for future use.

I use a propane burner on the back deck if I feel compelled to fry something. I don't like stinking up the house with frying oil.

Living in Syracuse the word Poutine (or a version there of) usually describes one of the hot SU college chicks that walk around lol...

But actually I love it..And Jay does serve up a great portion..(which if they didnt I would be scared)...

I work at a Dennys part time...I usually make a close version of it there.....

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1350574758.091140.jpgthis is from Chez Paul (Magog, QC) from July. The Burger King in the Province of Quebec does have bacon poutine. I was there Thanksgiving weekend in October and saw on the menu at the one in Magog.

Oui. Toujours, oui.

If you're in Montreal, I recommend La Banquise. Also, try the poutine at Au Pied de Cochon.

The one at Jay is alright but the best I had at a ski area was at the GLC in Whistler. It was topped with pulled pork.

This sounds ridiculously good. My first poutine was in Whistler too, but missed out on the pulled pork. And I didn't know they have it at Jay! Poutine rocks. Someone needs to bring it to Western NY.
