3/2/06 Another Clipper System

i did 1 run on wayout. it was good.

but on the chair ride up, i was looking at the trails to the right under the other chair and it looked like they were a little bare and icy. those were the trails I was hoping to do. do they do snowmaking and grooming on them? or is it because they seem to be west facing, they catch the most sun.

the top of Claires was SCOURED by the wind for 2 straight days... A couple days of warm weather and it's going to soften right up! They also put some snow whales down to groom out and deepen the base...

Not sure... due to the "city snow crowd" this weekend, I didn't really go down the front..

I'll check today when I'm out for my "work out" ..... uhhh hem - teleturns...

Bump course is there for good, til the end of the season.

Bumps were similar to Monday on Sat morning, but traffic got them heavily rutted by afternoon. Now they're huge and very hardpacked.

Skiied them a few times yesterday, still skiable but you have to go fast to enjoy them. They could use a little softening up.

thanks. I wish hunter was a half hour closer for me. I'm going somewhere tomorrow, just have to see what kind of drive i feel like dealing with when i get up.

Bump course still up on Ike... Great couple hours of skiing today..
Tomorrow should be sweet!
