My wife and I went to First Tracks at Mount Snow on Saturday morning. Bascially, you get to ski two runs with management before the lifts open...it's pretty sweet.
On the second lift ride, we rode up with a guy who turned 82 earlier that week. He had a ton of energy and talked about ducking ropes to get to the good trails. He said he doesn't do it anymore...but did up to a few years ago. The guy zipped too when skiing. It was a fairly large group, but I kept my eye open for him. I would love to think that when my wife and I are in our early 80's, we're still getting "First Tracks" and ripping it up with the "fast group". What an awesome guy....my hat is off to him.
