Everyone skiing this coming weekend? If so, where?

I plan on going up to Killington Wednesday night, ski Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Saturday maybe at Hunter though, depends on how much each mountain has open.

:snow: It's about time! :snow:

I'll be at Sugarbush Thursday, Friday & Saturday. I'm also planning on hitting Killington on Monday (after Thanksgiving) on the way home. If anyone will be at KMart Monday and wants to hook-up for turns, let me know.

The season is finally about to start!!

Andy, I could have sworn you said somewhere that you were opting out for this weekend?

This weekend, meaning yesterday and today, yes. I had to pick my sister-in-law up at the airport, but not next weekend. Dude, if she came in next weekend, she'd be walking to joisey :)

Hey admins, can you change the subject of this thread to "Are We Ready to Go?" Kind of messed up there

I'm going somewhere, just not sure where yet. Maybe Loon or Killington, but Crotched is only 30 minutes away and they fired up their guns last night.

I think most mountains will be opened by this weekend, which if you think about it, is good for us skiers. Traditionally it's just one or two mountains and big crowds, maybe this will help to thin out the crowds.

I'm thinking of heading to Hunter on Sat, I'm not sure if I wanna pay holiday prices for limited terrain though...

I was just looking at NOAA's extended outlook and it apears that Artic air may make a southward move around December 1st. Between now and then things looks to start warming up for the extended period past Thanksgiving, but also look fairy dry with good nightime snowmaking temperatures.

Looks like a few hitting Hunter Saturday. That's where I'll likely be if they open. I'm sure Jim and Doug will be there, We should propose an early season gathering.

I'm scheduled for training at Jiminy this coming weekend. I hope they have at least one trail oen or it's going to be a long weekend. They say they are making snow now. It's 30 here now so I hope that means that it's at least 29 on the mountain. Thats the magic number. If snow can be made they will be doing it, their good at it.

The plan as of now is to hit up Hunter on Sunday and then head up the following weekend to Killington. I'm looking forward to getting this season started!
