Been fairly busy at work, but have been managing to get out here and there. The snow is so good right now, I've been just sking XC on my Alpinas. Skiied the South Northfield gravel pit last week. It was so fun! 15 turns of steep, wide open, sparkling powder. We put a boot pack up the middle and got 10-15 laps. A great way to spend the afternoon. A few days out back in the Norwich area which is seeing a ton of traffic, and really filled in nicely now. Cold weather for the next week at least means pow should stay pow and I'm looking forward to a bcak country day Thursday.
That is all.

Have you ever read "Alpine Circus" by "skiing ruined my life" Michael Finkel? The guy skis anything anywhere. He wrote about skiing a runaway truck runout. Sounds like you two are kindred spirits!

We have a truck ramp here that my buddy Dave has skied. He says it good for fast days, but really isn't that steep. I think there are alot of people who enjoy this kind of skiing. If free and easy to get a quick session in. Shred you neighborhood and you'll never look at it the same....
