No better person to ski it with than Egan, I'd imagine...

See now, I'm afraid I'd be miserable on Rumble with my AC3's. I can't get them around as quick as you, Greg.

Think I'm better off with my public enemies?

I'm certainly not qualified to answer that. Bring what ever ski you're most comfortable on and one that is best suited for whatever you're trying to get out of your lesson.

Not a stupid question at all. This may help.

wow....sorry but I just don't follow those Warren Miller vids & stuff. That's why I had no idea who he was. That being said, those are some pretty impressive credentials listed there. Good luck, enjoy your lesson! Hope it works out well.

I'm just looking for opinions. The PE's are much more forgiving. ...Wider too (85) I want to build confidence in bumps and trees basically. Perhaps I bring both and let him decide!

Wow, that's a really great gift idea! Nice, man! I'll have to remember that one...

In case anyone can't swing the cost of an Egan session, I'm available at a fraction of the cost. I'll give you the grand tour of my home mountain and give you lessons on how to navigate our more challenging terrain. 4 hour lesson, lunch included.

My only credentials are that I'm an AZ super star (in someones eyes, I'm sure... maybe??)

PM me for more details.

I haven't had the chance to meet John; I did meet his brother Dan at Stowe back in December. Dan is a very cool, down-to-earth guy. Suffice it to say that he can turn them quite well.

Be sure to ask John what it was like being on that cornice when Dan knocked it down. I forget which Warren Miller movie it was in, but there was one where Dan accidentally knocked down a cornice that John was still on. John somehow jumped off a cornice that was falling down (after first trying to snowplow to a stop). Note that this cornice was overhanging a cliff that's a couple hundred feet high; if John didn't jump off, he'd be dead. I got Dan's version of what happened ("John was screaming, but he always screams, so I didn't think much of it"). I'd be interested in hearing John's version.

I think you forgot.....

Looks like the love-child of a Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Wayne Newton three-way. EEEWWW!!!!

....Ellen Degeneres, a needed ingredient for the creation of that stunning love child.....
