We have a winner. The SuperChief FGQ at Belleayre is being shut down on April 1 for dismantling and relocation to Catamount.

Rumor has it the Windham is also installing another HSQ. That will mean the Catskill ski areas will be going from 2 Hight Speed Detachable lifts to 4. NY still has a long way to go to catch up to Vermonts high speed lift capacity.

Grossly overcrowded slopes???? Where at Killington on a holiday weekend?

I nearly had Bolton to myself yesterday morning along with 1700' of vertical and 12" of powder. I have yet to encounter ANY slopes that I would consider grossly overcrowded this season.
