Do you care what you look like while skiing?

in control?

Well, considering this "chick" has only been skiing less than 50 days total, and probably mostly half days at best, I think you're doing pretty good:

Carrie! What are you doing skiing in control??? that's noooot gooood! 8) Are you trying to give us all a bad name? next thing you know the helmet police are gonna be forcing me to ski in control ! :dunce:

:lol: My bad! At least I have the arms going for the "out of control" look. :lol:

Now that Greg mentioned it... I think I've only skied full days a handful of times. I'd guess no more than 7 full days, with most half days not even reaching 4 hrs. Wow, I need to get out for longer sessions!
I had to look twice. The identical think happend to my daughter and I. But look again, the dude lost his drawers! Double-embarassing!
I didn't have to look twice to notice that! :lol: Poor dude!

I don't quite care how I look, it's just everyone else who seems to.
That's because you have that snazzy Checkers O'Houlihan outfit going this year. It's hard to blend in with that! ;)

...

Yeah, I care how I look but I think it comes from me trying to visualize good form and trying to follow through with it.
If I care how I look then I'll try to visualize skiing with good form and that helps me focus on the execution of that good form.

But regardless, I always ski the best when I want to for myself... liftlines and watching eyes just distract me from the job at hand.

+1;
*BobR...beat me to it! ...Usually try to make it thru the challenges that motha' nature has planted...

I certainly care!! I injured my knee (popliteus) last year.. went to a chiropractor today who said I'd been setting myself up for it for awhile...my alignment is off causing my arches to fall in my feet ... without going into more detail... this causes me to have trouble getting into a full ski tuck.. I hate seeing my form on video now...I tend to bend forward at the waist to compensate, putting strain on my quads...but I'm working on it..have been since June and it's geting better!!

I wish I didn't but I feel like my form slips if I'm not paying attention.

I don't wanna be the guy that a ski instructor is telling their student from the chairlift "You don't want to ski like that"
