So today I am out mowing some lawns. As I was finishing it started to rain, so I hurried up and finished my work, then loaded up my gear on the trailer and started to pull away. Real quick I noticed I forgot to get my money, so I parked it real quick and ran to the door. As I got back I noticed that the doors were locked, and the truck running.......:evil::smash: The truck automatically locks the doors after like a minute of running or something.

So i swear a hole bunch and pull out my cellphone. I call all my friends, and they are all at work, or nowhere even remotely close to help me. So I call my parents, but they are in North Carolina so they cant really help me either, but they are able to give me numbers for most of my neighbors. Could not get a hold of any of them so i started walking. Did I mention that this hole thing started because it was raining??:wink:

3 miles later in a nice rain shower I get home. Now remember that I had knee surgery 2 months ago tomorrow, so walking long distance sucks. Get home get the spare keys and pull out my bicycle. Ride back on out and hop in my truck. It has been sitting there idling for just shy of 3 hours now........

Now my knee is very sore, and I had a fun day.......................:uzi:

One morning I started the car to warm it up and went out to find it locked up but I was at the house and I had my spare key available ... I had a friend tell me to make a spare key and ty-wrap it to a spot under the vehicle..

My first car was a escort 2-door. I kept a wire coat hanger zip tied to the frame for when I locked my keys in. Cant do that with power locks though.

I always wear my keys around my neck, and keep the valet key in the ashtray to use. I can't stand keys in my pockets especially wearing shorts.

I think you could have gotten it to stall if you blocked the tail pipe. Not sure if that really works of if it's a good thing to do or not though...

It does not work. Or at least it didnt work, when "someone"(and by someone I mean me) shoved a potato in my sisters exhaust pipe.........:-o Just spit it out. Parents couldn't figure out why there was a potato in the driveway.......

I had a stick but never calculated out the MPG's. Didnt really like it at the time, but do miss i at times now....

The previous owner lived in the car for a while. I unfortunately found a used condom in it while cleaning it out..................:-o

When my son was about 16 months old, i locked HIM in the car...with the car running. Had to call the police to get him out...what a scene...frantic first time mom, screaming child in his car seat, neighbors outside with looks of pity on their faces....i will never live it down...LOL.
