In a completely sporadic amateurish and inaccurate way, I've been noticing that the price of a gallon of gas doesn't stray too far from a gallon of milk. Leave out the price spikes of either one, and it hasn't changed much in many decades. I have however been hearing that the price of gas will go up for quite some time.
Some of same people witchin about price of a gallon of gas are holding a water bottle they paid the equivalent of $12-$18 per gallon. . .depending on size of bottle.

While both are higher than 3 years ago, they don't compare to hard assets like real estate that cheap money ( truly, after taxes and inflation, 3% mortgage money is essentially free) drove thru the proverbial roof.

This is NOT an Onion headline: https://www.mrctv.org/blog/brittany...ill-use-so-much-energy-its-keeping-local-coal

r/shittyaskscience - Jokes are welcome, but I’m also extremely curious why this wouldn’t work. I know it wouldn’t. I do not know why.

So back on the Stereo type thing. I must be a lesbian in a mans body because I have owned a Subaru Outback for over 25 years. 3 of them in fact......

I know what you're thinking. Does this include being a slave to fashion? At this point we don't know.

We can assume it's important to keep tire pressure and tips UP.

Actually, this is similar to the way a high speed train works. There are magnets that are turned on and off to pull the train down the rail.

Mono meaning one.

Rail meaning rail.

For the record, I have nothing against Lip-Stick-Lets be friends. They are fun, adventurous and I could care less if they can ski. Meow

Back on topic. Cars

I've been encountering quite a few very aggressive Tesla drivers lately. Not the stereotype I think of but they use the acceleration and I thought the car would prevent them from cutting people off and driving like a maniac.

The person at the wheel is still in charge and the "safety sensors" can be turned off.

Tesla Drivers? HA....I drive in the city every day. I drive to Vermont every week from November to May and once a month summers. I see more agrssive driving everyday than most people. People of all age brackets, Sexes and racial backgrounds in every kind of car, drive like maniacs. lets face it. People suck in general. I am really starting to hate people.
Now I can respect people that know how to drive fast. I get out of thier way but 90% of fast drives are complete idiots. People that go mach 5 to get aound you and then get on the phone and loose focus and slow down. The clown that gets in you blind spot and stays there for miles and gets pissed when you want to go into the passing lane to pass a car. They actuall speed up to block you and then slow down. The self important assholes that go in the breakdown or right turn lane all the way to the front of the line and then cut people off because they are in more of rush than you. Motorcyles that rip though traffic norrowly missing mirrors going between cars. I can't wait until I can just move to VT and leave my car in the lot.

I've been noticing that more lately. They hang there for miles, and when I put on a signal to let them know I need to get into the passing lane, to you know PASS SOMEONE, and they get all pissed and flash their brights or speed up to close the gap, but still not actually pass you, just box you in.

Totally agree and do pretty much the same driving pattern as you. In addition to all the aggressive driving, I have just seen a lot more Teslas. We could start a new record post thread on shitty drivers...

Try dealing w/ downtown Boston's scooters and everything else everywhere...

Unregistered, No helmets and complete disregard for all lights, stop signs, lane markings and sidewalks. It's getting to be a real problem.

Then you have all the E scooters and Skateboards in and out of the bike lane like they too Own The Road..

One dude wiped out and his board went under my truck.... OOOps so sorry about that. He was lucky I saw him, the E-skateboard not so much....

Companies that market 5,000 pound EVs as performance vehicles with instantaneous torque and sub 5.0 or 3.0 or 2.0 second 0-60 times are pretty much encouraging their customers to drive them aggressively. Fortunately, most boy racers prefer their cars to be as noisy as possible, so EVs are out of the question for them and we can still hear the biggest menaces coming.

Weird that people have such issues with how EV owners drive their cars. I hardly ever have an issue with them.

Now motorcyclists, tricked out Civics or Big trucks with nuts off the hitch? Those types tend to be maniacs on the roads.

Like a lot of people on here I drive a lot for work. On 93 and 89 the craziest fast drivers are usually the middle aged people in SUV's. I cruise along at 74(in a 65) or 79 in a 70 and people are flying passed me in luxury SUV's (BMW, Mercedes, range rovers, etc.)

Probably me! Haha

I typically drive 80-85 on the highway in my work Sienna. I'm actually surprised I've never been pulled over in my work van as I drive about 40k miles a year for work. Maybe they aren't looking for speeders in minivans.
