Narrow Gauge at Sugarloaf . . . I'll listen to arguments for Tote Road and Hayburner, but I like Narrow Gauge's pitch and lack of those annoying safety people telling you to slow down.

Also, in order to rank, a trail needs sustained vertical and a limited number of interruptions from crossovers/traverses.

John Hancock at Jiminy Peak. It's a natural trail ( no snowmaking) so I don't get on it all that often, but it's what I picture as an old style New England trail, narrow and twisty.

Mohawk at Berkshire East. One of my favorite trails. Very long and narrow New England trail with a variety of twists, turns, and pitches. They should make snow on that trail and light it so we can enjoy it more often...

Never skied Wildcat before last winter. Polecat is definitely up there for me now after skiing there a few times. Typically enjoy more pitch to a cruiser than what Polecat offers, but it is a darn great relaxing run from the top on autopilot.

Upper Narrow yes, but the lower part is straight and uninteresting. Tote Road stays pretty twisty and has a few rollers that make up for the lack of pitch at the end.

Deathspout! Just kidding. Upper Antelope/Catamount at MRG; Upper Jester at SB.
Upper Antelope/Catamount are nicely cut trails with lots of turns and bends and have a great design and layout. But generally horrid conditions. Not sure if it is MRGs older grooming equipment, the amount of traffic those trails take, or the grooming of natural snow or what not... but I generally find unpleasant groomed snow conditions on these trails.

Jester is a good one.

You have much more MRG experience than me, but I haven't had any problems with the conditions on Upper Antelope/Catamount.

i cant't belive no one has said toll road at stowe. you have super mellow terrain and if you want you can hit suff between switch backs for steep stuff. its the perect date trail.

Toll Road is fun..I can usually get pretty good speed in certain sections if the snow is firm..As for perfect date trail...sometimes me and my ex would ski the entire Toll Road down to the Inn @ the Mountain...then take a break and have a drink and play some pool in their rec room..then take the LONG and SLOW tollhouse double back to the quad side. Plus hitting the low angle Powder stashes on the sides is fun

That was the first trail I ever skied. I remember it seemed like it took forever to get down. Instantly fell in love with skiing that day.
