I know the season's been pretty crappy so far this year, but are you getting out often anyway? How are you doing so far as compared to previous years? For me, I'm more or less on track. After tomorrow, I'll have 8 days in which is just about where I was at this point last year. In 2004-05, I only had 5 days in at this point. In [POST="27589"]2004-05[/POST], I had 25 days and 21 days in [POST="80987"]last year[/POST] with a six week hiatus as our second daughter was born in January. Overall, I'm please. I'd like to hit 30 days this year. I plan to ski well into April which I didn't do last year and I will get many days in January so I think it's attainable. How are you doing?

I have 12 so far which is 4 behind last season. Next week I'll start going on Tues and Thurs nights (school ski clubs) plus Sat and Sun so times out will start adding up. I hoped for 60 this season, but to get that April will have to be da bomb.

I was doing pretty good until yesterday, got 14 days. Yesterday, my brother passed away, all of the sudden lack of snow just doesn't mean too much.

I didn't mean to hijack the thread but the subject asked the question and that was my reply. I would like to thank everyone for their good wishes and kind words, it definately helps at a time like this.

I'm really sorry about your brother, Andy. Best wishes to you and your family.

There are things more important than threadjacks, this is absolutely one of them.

days don't mean as much as quality. days are really hard to compare to last season due to the injury. that said, despite the overall crappy early season, i did have almost half my days this season be quite good, so my season has probably been better than most people's season so far including 3 or 4 pow days and plenty of days on natural snow. all and all, i am taking the bad weather in stride but would like to see more terrain open up ASAP.
