How Many Days Skiing So Far?

Called it quits today at 71. Never thought I would make it above 70.

Actually outside chance I could do wildcat if it opens back up. Alot closer to my place and might sneak in a few hours. I brought my gear home so I had a few options. I'm fine if I finish where I'm at.

Well there's always tucks, hmmm... lets say third, fourth weekend in May

Wildcat could reopen next weekend, there is a chance I could get one more day depending on cost and conditions.

actually the 3rd and 4th weekend of May I'll be in Bethel only around and hour away. food for thought. My wife might like to dtich my son and me for a while. Can't make plans yet.

Bob, you seem to have a very twistable arm!

I will be at either Wildcat or K on Saturday for number 59 of the year. I may hike Jordan on Sunday as I will be staying at SR anyway or may go to the Cat if it indeed opens. Regardless, this kid's not done yet.

I'm hoping for at least two trip to tucks - the last two weekends of May. I would love to get some folks to go with. I'm willing to bet THaller1 and WHaller would be on board!

I think I'll be making turns somwhere on Sat. I'll find out tonight. My wife has a girl scout (another cookie Sale) event on Sat and Sunday. I have to work around her plans. Hoping to work on the Condo Sat night and Sunday. Might have my son with me. I was given a ski back pack by my wife for my b-day this summer so Hiking in May makes sense. I wonder how long the snow will be around at the River?

I'm now at 29 days and will get 2 more in this weekend (1 at Sugarbush & 1 at Killington) to give me a season total of 31. This is the most I've ever gotten in in one season & I've never skied in May before. All-in-all, a great season for me!

I did 72 lift serviced last year and one hike day. I can't believe I will at the least do it again.

start october 20th 14 straight days. . .
20 days spent ripping groomers in november. . .
20 more days on the groomed in december. . .
in january things got interesting, 10 days in the pacific northwest, followed by 15 days back home @jay. . .
febuary it just got better i got all 28 and went straight into march with another 17 days for an unbroken streak of about 45 days. . .
march total was another 27 days, with a 7 days @ jackson hole in there and then at the end of the month out to southern colorado. . .
april has also be very kind finishing up with 23 days. . .
and needless to say, i just logged my second may day today. . .
tucks on sunday and monday and then who knows how many more. . .
jay still has top to bottom on stateside and i am going for june in the east this year.
this has been my best ski season to date and it just seems to be getting better!!!!!!!!

total ski days to date 2006-07: 159* and counting

bob, you're selling the place in campton? too bad i was never ever to get back up to my wifes aunts place in waterville estates this winter. i'll be there in the summer for our Storyland/Santas Village tour.

the kids love that.

anyway, to stay on topic, 15 right now but will end at 16 barring a disaster keeping me from going this sunday. nothing compared to most but i'll take it.
