So, it's already a definite they'll have at least 1 more trail than usual open for opening day... West Glade, AKA Ridge Run.If I remember correctly, it wasn't open right away last year.

I won't be able to make it up there for opening day but you can bet your ass i'll be up there next weekend. hope it won't be too crowded. i've never been up there for an opening weekend, is it usually packed?

Nice. I'm going on Monday and these snowmaking pics are getting me even more pumped! It should be a good day. 6 straight days of snowmaking plus the natural snow headed for them this weekend will make for a great Monday which is forecasted to be around 40 for a temp. Ski season starts in 3 days!

Looks like K1 Lift to Summit then Great Northern Trail to North Peak Triple Chair. Chute and Lower Bunny back to bottom of K1. Almost the same as the last 2 years years on opening day

Jim, I've been up there opening weekend that last 2 seasons. Not too bad if you get there at 8. You can at least get a couple of good hours in before the crowds get there. Then by I guess about 11 or so, it does start getting a bit crowded.
