Since the last one got locked...

Sunapee bumped weekend rates $10, from $41 to $51.

I'm not sure when the price was $41, but if I remember right I paid $56 last year for a full price weekend ticket.

I checked their web site, and weekend rates for this year are $58.

The one big jump that I've seen is the Pay One Price program at Pats Peak...went from $23 to $29.

Now's the time to look for discounted tickets, I guess, unless you're one of the ones who planned well enough to pick up a season pass...

I imagine Stowe and SB will break the $70 mark.

Pats Peak's jump to $29 is a bit disheartening...but I can see that they probably needed more revenue...they were at $43 a day for weekend/holiday...can't get much more than that for a small area that they are...and to be honest...they're probably playing on the high demand of the POP program...I mean there were nights when folks were out the doors and waiting for hours just TO GET skis. At some level they want to deter too much traffic so as to get a grip on the situation...supply and demand I guess.

The $41 for Sunapee is based on a review of bank statements- two weekends in March showed $82 charges, which could have been for food ( :( ), divided by me and my wife. May have been Spring prices, though. Or 1/2 days. Or Sundays.

Anyway...the $51 was a reported 05-06 price, not from the web site. So, all in all, it may just have been me talking out my ass.

No problem, I wasn't trying to bust your chops.

I just wanted to know how you managed to pay only $41 dollars for a Sunapee lift ticket...

We had a lot of the coupons which, come to think of it, may have been $10 off ones. Plus, my wife is a cute blond, so she usually picks a guy to buy tickets from and asks for specials. Amazingly effective.

I like her. She's mighty useful for getting discounts and deals and stuff, too.

We won't tell her that you said that!

Ms. Trailboss leaves it to me to be the assertive one...sometimes gets her into trouble
