Sunapee, 1/28/07. Upper flying goose was covered with moguls over length of the trail... wow. Bumps were great; soft in the trough and backside. Some death cookies near the edges, I hit one of them and it knock me over big time. Sun came out mid morning and really warm things up, not quite spring conditions but it made the bumps even softer.

The bumps really held up all day, my last run was 2:50. Some spots got deeply rutted but no bare or boilerplate. If the weather holds up, the bumps and the lines should hold up for a while.

Pics below;

Wow! Nice looking field on a moderate pitch. Looks sweet.

The bumps at our little local hill, Ski Sundown, have skied in quite well. Bump season is here folks!

Sunday River has seeded bumps on Tempest. Others trails that natural bumps ( as of this weekend anyway) Upper Downdraft (skiers left) Rogue Angel (skiers left) Shockwave (big snowmaking wales and bumps) Lost Princess (big snowmaking wales and bumps)
They are making snow on Agony again today and hopefully leaving it to bump up.

Pat's Peak has nice bumps on Hurricane.

Wow...this trail had no snow at all on it just a week ago...

Props to Sunapee, they put alot of base into that trail. I was doing laps on this trail all day. The freestyle team was practicing all day and rutted the line with the jumps. At the end, I didn't see any boilerplate or dirt.

Not that I'm complaining, me thinks the Muellers must be getting water access for free or close to it.

How are the bumps setting up at Hunter? Upper X-over? K27? Claire's? What's the scoop?

The Banzai pipeline of snowmaking hits it's peak again. Oh so pretty ski-bumps.

On Sunday the bumps were pretty weird, over all. Lower K27 and Upper Crossover had bumps, but they were generally large, far apart, and somewhat awkward. Crossover was probably a little better than K27. Claire's had fewer moguls.

Wachusetts snow report has the mogul run open on upper 10th, I checked out the web cam and it looks bumpy.

Sunapee has moguls on lift line (easier pitch) along with the moguls on flying goose.

Life is good..... I just feel like a kid in the candy store.

Sunapee, 02/04/07, they seeded another bump trail the middel of this week, the pics are below. It's on lift line, the pitch is less than flying goose, good place to warm up and practice. The bumps at flying goose are still in great shape, I noticed the freestyle team instructors was placing more jumps and shaping out some of the ruts.

makes me want to go to sunapee. they do look a bit on the small side but that could obviously be attributed to taking the pic from the lift.

I heard that alot last year, looks smaller from the lift.

The pics of lift line was pretty close to first run on the place, didn't get any skiers in them for a perspective. The bumps space close and evenly as in flying goose but its on a tamer pitch. I spent a couple of runs on it and came back near closing, the bumps were still in good shape, some spots got rutted.
