Still 52*F right now. I think my elevation is going to kill any chance for frost here tonight.

Well go dump some ice cubes in the lawn. We will count that:razz:

Ha! This would be extremely early to see frost here. I'll be sure to get down on my hands and knees and examine that grass early tomorrow morning though!

Cold enough for me to turn my heat on for the first time this fall.....

We're resisting that, it's just too early to start the furnace up IMHO. Threw a couple more blankets on the bed last night. Of course we're quite a bit further south than you.

I just turned on the lower level zone to take the chill out for a half hour this morning. It got down to 40*F last night and the first floor was 63*F. Luckily, my wife likes to sleep when it's cool so we had the windows wide open in the bedroom!

We have an old, inefficient, gas fired furnace that I turn completely off in the summer. For me to turn the heat back on requires going into the basement, turning it back on and lighting the pilot. I save that for when it really gets cold and the heat's going to stay on. Not to mention I have to take the AC (which we were still using up until very recently, we like to sleep in the cold too ;) ) out of the window first so I don't waste all that heat...
