6 days this month so far for me, making 25 total. All days except 3 this season have been at Sugarbush. Out of this month, I've had 3 powder days, 1 epic packed powder day, 1 excellent bluebird day, and 1 "could'a been worse but wasn't too bad" day. Hoping to get (at least) 4 more days this month and am well on my way to beating last year's 39 days.

skied 13 out of 14 days so far. Snow has been deep, but the sun wins this week. Might take a couple days off next week if crowds get silly at loveland. maybe earn turns and get some excersise or something.

oshit! What happened????

* I friggin' hate hearing about knee injuries....

:( Knee is still killing me. Kids won't cut me a break so I can't stay off of it and nobody was available to help me out today. I have it braced, been taking ibuprofen, and will dip into the wine again once I can get the kids to sleep. It can't be serious if I can get around, can it?

Just trying to take it easy... looks like I'll be missing skiing this week at the very least, so that's not going to help with my season count.

2nd time this season - same knee. Different pain this time, though.

YES, it can. The only reason I rode the sled, instead of skiing down after blowing my ACL, was because I broke my Tibia and Fibula. Otherwise, I would've been able to keep going. GET IT CHECKED-OUT!!!

Yukkk Sorry to hear that. Take care of it, and get it checked.

healing vibes for you carrie....hope you're on the mend soon

as for my month, not to shabby. I've had two fantastic days so far, skiing Wildcat tomorrow and pretty certain I'll get in Black and Wildcat next weekend. 5 day months are rare for me, so if I pull it off, I'll be very happy with my February.

I am up to eight days. not including the Bell tomorrow. im going back up to stowe at the end of the month. after these past few days i would consider this season far better than last year. out of my four trips to stowe this year this was by far the most fun. i just need to get few more people to go with me so i can go further out in to the notch and be safe.

I have 4 days so far in February but all of them were short 2 or 3 hour days at local places. I just moved into a new house so I've been busy with getting things together after the move so I haven't had the time to take a whole day yet. I'm thinking of hitting Blue Mountain on Tuesday because it looks like they're the only place within 2 hours of me that is not going to be charging holiday rates. As far as the skiing goes December and January were much better months by mid month than February has been, also February has been too warm and wet in north Jersey.:-x

February...

February has been pretty good so far...have gotten out 12 days so far...one day at the River, seven days at Sugarloaf, and the remaining four(1 day=hardpack/ice, 3 days=mix of pow & crud) have been outside the resort.....backsides of smaller peaks possessing gradual runouts ..that are off the western edge and NW of the Katahdin Range. Above Moosehead it has been COLD, but each day out has been bluebird-ish = plenty of sun. Nailed one early powder morning at the Loaf and several late mornings where you had to search for the untracked;-) Three of the four earn-your-turn days' descents were in comfortable deep pack/powder areas/runs..ending in nice long, DRY! meadows..with the usual patch or two of crud thrown about...but they are NOT the beautifully spaced hardwood runs of Bush, MRG, & Stowe trees...;-)..more like intermediate bump runs with a tree every 6'-10' then comes a drop...is more like a continuous, controlled drop...but even that becomes addictive when the trees block the wind and enough snow to protect one's bases/edges.
Notice I'm not saying anything about the weather.....
