We are playing at a small music festival called Rock The Mountain next weekend. Our pay - free skiing. Does not look like it will be worth the hour and a half drive from my house to ski there....

I'm not positive, but I think I may have skied there a long, long, long time ago. Does anyone know if it went by another name in the past? It is in Tuxedo, NY at Sterling Forest.

what's the name of your band? who else is playing the fest?

I don't know anything about Tuxedo Ridge. I do believe JimG has discussed it though.

It used to be called Ski Sterling Forest. It was closed for a season then new owners re-opened it as Tuxedo Ridge. I haven't been there, I would have to drive past Mountain Creek, Hidden Valley and Mt. Peter to get there. Every season I think about it just for a new area but with three areas that I like on the way I never make it.

If it's a 90 min drive to your home and you live in Ct.....see if you they'll pay in you free beer instead of free skiing.
