Yes, it has to do with skiing. But it's also a mystery.

It's called DOUBLE BLACK: A SKI DIVA MYSTERY, and It's the story of a young woman who moves to a Vermont ski town to live the life of a ski bum. Instead, she stumbles upon financial intrigue, bitter family warfare, and yes, murder.

Yes, it's fiction.

Here's the cover so you'll know it when you see it.

And starting this weekend, I'm going to be making a few author appearances. So if you want, stop in and say hi. Here's where I'll be and when.

Amazon delivered today. Double Black is next on my reading list, after I finish "Failure is Not an Option" by Gene Kranz.

I'm going to be signing books in the lobby of Okemo's Jackson Gore Inn on Saturday, January 23, between 11 and 2. Would love to meet some AZer's. Stop in and see me, if you're skiing Okemo!

One of my personal heroes. Boy is that ever a fantastic read. As an engineer, it makes me wish I was born just a little earlier.

BTW, congrats Ski Diva. To paraphrase Stephen King- if you wrote something and sent it to someone who sent you a check for it in return, and you used that money to pay the light bill, I consider you a successful writer.

Not to thread jack, but I agree- great read. I'm on the last Appollo mission now, and it's a little depressing, sort of. Kind of shows how badly we went off the rails in the '70's. And I don't just mean bell bottom pants.

But, how will we recognize you?

Almost finished, BTW. I'm pretty sure the butler did it. If not him, then I'm certain it was Colonel Mustard, in the Conservatory, with a wrench.
