I am from the Moorestown NJ area (southern NJ near Philadelphia) and have been looking for a family friendly ski club that also has a lodge up north (VT?). Most seem to be in northern NJ at least an hour away from my house. Too far to be a good member. There are 5 skiers in my family and it can get pricey though I search for deals. I also need some new ski friends for next winter. Everytime we go my husband says "God, I hope I don't hurt myself, it will ruin my golf game and I am tired about being responsible for his every ache and pain. Any suggestions???? Thx:snow::snow::snow:

I read an article and think I posted here about a NYC based ski club that has a lodge at Sugarbush. The article talked about how they were looking to get younger. I like the idea of ski clubs ... good luck.

problem is I am a good 1 1/2 to 2 hours from the northern nj clubs. it appears i will not be able to find a club in southern nj with a lodge. if i was closer, i would definately join one because they usually have lots of great activities and trips and you can get a good rate at their lodge.

Billski gave you some good links. You also might want to stop by Danzeisen & Quigley and see what the shop guys know.
