Burke does seem to be popular in this thread! We did an AZ gathering at Burke during the 04-05 season which was well attended and a good time had by all. I am sure another could be arranged.

There are some others that might be better..........

Geoff: If you are considering that region, I might try Whitewater in Nelson. They get some of the highest snow levels in BC, short of Powder King and the hiking out of Whitewater is simply some of Canada's best. I think the combo of Red, Whitewater, and Fernie would provide you with a pretty deep BC trip. You can always grab a standby day at Valhalla powder cats. AHM

I definitelly want to ski Cannon - just something about this place. It's a long drive from New York so I'm not sure how that will go.

Other new ski areas: Mount Snow, Okemo, Belleayre, Sugarbush, maybe something in CT.

My list is still veeeery long, but those will do for next season ;)

I'd like to head out of New England....Pretty sad, but even with all of the ski miles and different areas I have skied I really haven't been out of New England to speak of. I did go to Orford and I have been to Catamount.

Also, in New England:
Dartmouth
Middlebury (again, it's been years)
Pico (it's been years)
Smuggler's Notch (I am told I have been there, but don't remember...long time ago)
Sugarloaf

Doubt if we'll be able to hit them next year but Stowe, Smugg's, Jay and Saddleback are about the only NE "majors" we haven't hit that we are interested in. Stowe is at the top of the list.
A repeat of last year's Cannon, Burke, Loon trip is probably a more realistic goal. Pretty inexpensive and some cool resorts to boot.
Then again there's the Elk, Bellearyre (I never know if I'm spelling it right) combo to be considered also. There are just too many places to choose from up that way.

I haven;t been to Burke or Smuggs in well over 10 years. I would like to hit Middlebury and S6 while we're talking about VT.

Platekill is very tempting, but it's really a haul.

Nice to see Saddleback mentioned so much. I highly recommend it. (There's a surprise)
