Powers--Did you go to the Apres Party? Who won the skis?

Party? I didn't see anything about an apres ski party connected to the card. I just presented the card to the person behind the desk. As far as I know, they didn't take any extra info. For all I know, my wife and I were the only ones to use the card there. Maybe I did win the skis. I dunno, there wasn't anything obvious to show that there was a party but thats okay, I some freshies in the glades and that was good enough for me :D

Skiing Now

I will be at Killington on Tuesday 2/1. I will likely park my car and gear at Bear and ski over to the KI base. Don't know if I will make 10 AM, but I will try. Maybe I can hook up with an AZ member. (Blue Powder Suit, Blue GIRO Helmet, Metallic Volant Skiis.)

Put the skis back in the same place, you idiot! Number one, make sure the skis you grab are yours (okay, they're the same color, but the 10's were longer than my 7's, have a round topsheet, and weigh twice as much, with completely different bindings. How can you not tell the difference?), but if you do grab the wrong ones after having to work to get them out, PUT THEM BACK!
i have NO idea how someone could mistake their skis for someone elses. maybe if they were the exact same brand and model, but other wise most skis have a pretty unique look to them. when you drop down money to buy skis, you take a damn good look at them so you loose them!

Sorry, but I didn't intend a troll. However, once I saw such a plethora of responses, I knew there was no sense in reading and responding to them. The intention wasn't to touch a nerve for sure. February attracts more skiers than any other month from what I know.

I skied Killington on Sunday 1/31 and the crowds weren't bad. I never waited more than 5 minutes in any line. The snow was mostly great, some trails got scratchy at the end of the day.

It should be even scratchier at the end of the week. IMHO Killington will always be crouded. I'm not talking about the lines, though, as they move too many people to the summit when everyone is skiing on the snowmaking trails.

Now I'm really glad I installed the spell checker extension on Firefox. The next thing I'll need is a troll filter. :D

I'm not normally a spelling nazi, but in our buddy beswift's case, I couldn't resist. He just loves to correct others, but can't seem to spell simple words like crowded and helmet...

Spelling Nazis make the Baby Jesus cry :(

However, when it's beswift getting Nazi'd, it can be funny. :D

In other news, I never thought I'd see a ski thread get Godwined.
