My answer is no, it doesn't matter what they think. I check ES every so often, post something once in awhile. Alot of instructors who complain about the PSIA and the "Harb" method, several post a pic of your quiver threads and discussions about books on sking...not my cup of tea.

Philplug and Trek are longtime Bears and they post in AZ. Seem like good people to me.

I really don't have a comment considering I've spent a total of maybe 45 minutes at those other sites, most often from a link from here. The idea of trash talking between different forums seems pretty juvenile to me. Actually trash talking about skiing in general outside of light hearted banter between friends seems lame to me.

I haven't really gone to epic since joining here. I tend to like more local forums; you end up meeting people and discussing things that are a bit more local. (I really don't need any driving/route tips regarding Keystone, CO).

I kinda LOL'd that someone called this place kindergarden. It seems like there was some form of urinating contest over on Epic on a weekly basis: "Why Watea's are better than Monsters" "Eastern Skiers are better because of the ice" "Your boots should be 6 sizes smaller than your street shoe; or else you're not a real skier." Or my favorite: "You're a gaper".
