Cannon has a couple good spots. The Tram lot is pretty close and the lot next to Tuckerbrook is right on the slope. There is another but I will not mention it as I do not want to let it out, but it is a short walk and pop on skis and you are at the lift.

Only if you are there early enough. That lower lot is a pita when the road alongside gets icy and cars pass by close, which has happened regularly to me and the kids.

I typically arrived between 9 and 10 every day this season. Only skied there Saturdays and Sundays. Only time I had to park in the lower lot is when half the across the street top lot was closed because of mud. They had a shuttle running from the lower lot even though it's not very far of a walk at all.

outside Boston nowadays
at Berkshire East I always get great parking wherever

at Mount Snow main area parking not as good as a few years ago feels so controlled and routed, at Carinthia main base parking is usually great and easy

at Stratton the sunbowl is the key to good parking

I have been very, very lucky to get my "rockstar" parking fairly consistently at my resort this year. Nothing more will be said other than that. I have a sweet spot that is very close to the lift.

And when I go to Burke I get there early to make sure that I park in line with the Dawn Patrol. The original trailboss almost has a VIP spot for him at MidBurke. Back right up to the snow and pop the trunk. Away you go.

Sometimes, talking about rockstar parking is like talking about woods stashes...

The first rule of rockstar parking, is you don't talk about rockstar parking. (Other than first row in such and such a lot type comments).

If you get to Blue early, you can park within an easy walk to the lodge, especially the valley lodge, where the lot is flat.
Shawnee, on the other hand, has a bridge across a pond located between the lots and lodge. I don't have fond memories of lugging our equipment across it when our kids were little. I would let them stop and look down at the turtles while I caught my breath.
Bellayre can be a hike, but the attendants always let you pull up close to drop everyone/everything off.

It can't be any closer than this

There is nothing possibly closer for parking to the lifts than Cannon if you have your pass or ticket.I live next door so I boot up at home and step out of the car and literally ON THE SLOPE.I can put my skis on while sitting in the car and ski away to the lift a few short feet below.

Cannon, as noted, has some nice close parking on the Peabody side, but only if you get there early. Show up after about 8:45 on a weekend and you're in the back lot for sure, and if it's really crowded you'll be in the Echo Lake Beach lot.If you're not dealing with rentals or ski school, the Tramway lot is pretty close to the lodge and doesn't fill up very fast. When the lift at Mittersill goes in, I expect the lots there will be a decent option, assuming they reopen the base lodge there too.

Last I was there, I saw some folks tailgating in the lot next to Brookside, with grills and folding chairs and everything.

MRG has a pretty stiff walk from the main lot, but that just serves to put you in the right frame of mind. :)

Worst among areas I've been to recently is Wachusett: slog across an huge and icy (or muddy) remote lot, ride a bus while hanging onto your skis, then walk all the way around the sprawling base lodge. Whoever laid out that base area needs to be thrown into the snowmaking pond.
