Best wishes....all that harware, she should be up and running in no time, it'll probably hurt for a wile though....I should know

I've got to 2, 6 inch stainless steel plates on my arm and 18 screws...football injury

But it's wierd...you really don't hear of ankle injuries anymore

Was her boot not buckled down?

Yeah, it was, can't say how tight. But regardless of how tight it was, that's not going to stop the foot from twisting, you would be cutting off circulation if you have it that tight. It was just a matter of bad circumstances. The fall she took was at a slow speed, the ski got caught on wet heavy snow. If she had been going faster, her binding would probably have release, has many times in the past.

I'm happy to say that Powdr did the right thing and reimburst us for both passes minus a small amount. For both passes I recieved $1,149.88. If I'm not mistaken, the price on them was $599 each + tax

Cool deal, I'm surprised that you got your money back on your pass too.

So she got the hardware taken out of her ankle beginning of July. Went for a check up yesterday, told her everything is healing nicely, she could start physical activity, and that they don't want to see her anymore! Gonna get her bike out today and start exercising a bit. :)

I GOT MY BABY BACK!

Great news....long haul for the both of you.

On a side note, I was at a performance last night (kids finale of a performing arts camp) and they played the song you used in your Cannon Video from two seasons ago....totally sidetracked me. Ski-Jones rating jumped back t life prematurely!

Now I have to find and watch that video.

AND...I have to get myself into one of those vids!
