Good to see. When I was there in 2001-2002 there was not much snow or skiing up there. The ski season is fickle up there. I heard that they had a great season and that there was snow. It seemed weird to have to call the resorts to see if they were going to open on the weekends, considering I am so used to Vermont's mountains just being "open" during the winter.
It's also amazing how places like Aviemore have really old infrastructure. It is almost cheaper for UK skiers to fly to the Alps.

I skied Hillend, Thanksgiving weekend in 1990. There was a good frost in the morning and the trails were slick, which is ideal for Dentex, but on my first run I tried to lay an edge and that fall hurt. I also skied a place in East London that is now defunct. Fun stuff!
