I'm sure there's plans for a multi level garage replacement of the Mansfield lots... with a smaller parking deck alternative - all set to fall back on as well.

I've been saying for years they could just build a second level. I'm sure that would never get approved...

Oh, you mean like this other Vail Resorts 1,800 parking spot monstrosity just announced the other day?

Free parking will be a thing of the past soon. And the, "well the buses will still be free" people are adorable for their childlike naivety.

Right where I want to be
The reality is that 86 cars, is what, maybe 350 or so people?? And given Stowe's lift capacity per hour, that's really a negligible effect. Now if they were looking to build say a 500 car parking structure, that's a different situation for sure
Doctor,
Its not about lift capacity it is the fact they are saying they are having more paid parking to cut down on traffic (which it won't but that is a different story) in one sentence and then saying they are adding more parking spaces which will add up to another 86 cars a day...

Impressive amount of terrain open at Stowe for November. Surprised they cant run the gondola given what I see they have open on the front.

My guess is they would rather groom that terrain and there isn't enough snow to groom.
Either that or that have a bunch of snowmaking equipment deployed across the trails that they don't want people skiing/riding over/around in all of the new snow

I'll be at Stowe next Saturday. Please keep snowing! We have our local Ullr fest tomorrow night at Roundtop. Skis will be sacrificed in the bonfire, which makes Ullr happy!
