ya i think i gotta get back on that and return to smuggs mad and stowe. its overdue. next year
I'm almost definitely going back to Ikon, but today convinced me to maybe add an Epic midweek value pass. But VT 4 pass may be worth it. MRG, Smuggs, Stowe, and idk who would be the 4th one. Burke maybe since it's not free on Indy?

as someone who has gotten the vt 3 pack (yes was 3 or 5 back in day) since its inception (when we mailed or faxed it in) just know that it sells out super fast and im just spitballing but you are 50-50 or less to get it. If case, supplement with epic 2 day non holiday and for stowe you are at 84 a day. Im full ikon and full indy and dont want vail to get another dollar from me but like all, i love stowe and will buy 2day to time and crush it midweek since im always in waterbury adn best bud lives in stowe. i miss that place too.

5" reported overnight. Might only be able to handle a few hours today 😆

I guess there is one Vail Sucks moment going on early this week. Chin Clip was closed yesterday and still closed today because of snowmaking on Gondolier. How about you just let us ski under the fucking guns Vail?

And of course on a day where the report says "winds of 25-40 mph will not affect our lift operations" the Four Runner is on wind hold.

Rope dropped on Upper Goat. Don't think I hit bottom the entire way down the left side, then hopped into the woods which are still full of fresh tracks. If this is really only 5" then it's a damn good 5". I think it's more...and it's all dry Utah blower type snow.

I can't believe Wildcat is about 100 miles away with 8 trails open. This is why I would never give up Vermont skiing to stick to NH. It actually snows here.

I never recall that happening. Chin Clip is one of my favorite trails; I'd put it in my Top-10 list.

They had snowmaking hoses across all of the chin clip exits to try and bury lower gondolier since that hasn't seen snowmaking yet. Annoying but logical

Alright then I'll give them a pass ;)

Honestly as much as I wanted to get into the woods over there, the Gondy was down all day today anyway and quite frankly I wouldn't have even bothered if it was running. Nothing was taking me away from the woods on the front today. One of my best days in years.

... and I picked wind scoured, bone chilling, lift holding, last week to be up there... major planning fail on my part!

Congrats Zand on a spectacular day!
