I'm working on a list of '05-06 lift ticket comparisons. I'm using full-price, all day, weekend adult tickets for a baseline comparison. Everything else follows from there.
It's no suprise that no for-profit venture will compile such a list.
From what I've seen so far, there are only a couple of areas in the West that have such stratospheric prices. I'm putting it into a spreasheet and adding things like vertical so you can slice and dice it. Maybe in a day or two it will be ready. Stowe is still sitting at #2 nationwide.
The first thing I notice is that the highest prices are commanded by the resorts with the largest corporate investors. I suspect I'll be able to draw a line on the list where the "milking" starts.
