Since Liftopia.com has come on-line, I've been asked more than a few times how to look AHEAD for deals at ( ) resort, rather than searching on a day by day/opportunity basis for each resort in a given area

Honestly, I had to go to Liftopia and search it out for myself since our marketing dept doesn't give out quarters for the Clue Bus Line. Wonder why they don't make it easy to answer questions leading to cheap tix ?

HMM.

Discounts are out there, and it is on the customer to Seek, Find and Comply with all requirements

For those who haven't yet totally navigated that new clue-bus-line, Liftopia offers a search option for "flexible dates". Pick a resort, use the Flexible Dates option, and you'll get a calendar view for the current month of what is available for discounts for that resort day by day in the calender view. You WON"T get the number of tickets available at ( x) rate, for day. Limited quantities apply, and changes can be expected. Lock it in/buy it when you see it/want it because it may disappear for xx/yy/08 when the limit is reached.

It is just like Airline booking. When the fare is gone, it is gone. Either you got lucky or you waited <out> of availability.

Some Lucky Liftopia customers got a full day ski pass to Wildcat for today, Sunday, 1/06/08 for 24.99 each.

I do KNOW that several AZ'ers skiied at Wildcat today and paid MORE than that, whether by using their Wildcards or depending on their College ID discount. You thought you had your one good deal, but there was a better one out there. It isn't up to me to save your money, it is up to you to seek out the best deal and do your part to make it happen.

Liftopia isn't really all that hard to use. Please PLEASE PLEASE read the confirmation e-mail, PRINT the confirmation e-mail, BRING the confirmation e-mail to the ticket counter and present photo ID, ALL as instructed. You really can save a fistfull, just follow the simple instructions. It is one of the easiest discount venues out there for both sides of the transaction, IF YOU THE CUSTOMER do your part.

Ticket sellers at the redemption venues are NOT empowered to bail out those who can't provide proof of purchase and proof of identity for the date of sale and validation, so protect yourself, do your OWN due diligence as per Liftopia rules.

Don't smart-ass the ticket agent if you are negligent. Discounts require full proof of compliance. Do the Dew.

Its your money, use it as you need it, Wisely.

Was it a duct-tape one or a printed one? The sticker that is. My neighbor who has a hand-crafted duct tape on on his ski box claims he wasn't there. Could people be forging them??? I hope so.

I do have some swag over at CafePress. I just checked in on the shop and so far we have sold a total of 2 bumper stickers- and one shipped to Indiana! I have yet to earn enough through them to buy a discounted night pass to a small hill. :lol:

Mount Snow will be open on Friday 4/25 as well as Saturday and Sunday 4/27 - believe tickets are $49. Lift operator said they WILL be open - even if they have to cart snow from the backside of the mountain to the front side.

I'm pretty sure Ski Cheap Or Die is the state motto.

Anyhow, got Sunday River's free day on there as well as Mt Snow's Fri-Sun.
