Honestly I do find his choice of Sugarbush, let alone Vermont, as quite interesting given the current political climate. At least one town (Brattleboro) had an active arrest warrant out for W and Cheney back in the day. I could just as easily see Vance going to Jackson Hole or somewhere else out west where there would be less attention.

There was a viral rumor that went around for quite a while that JD Vance had admitted to having sexual relations wtih the crack between the cushions of his couch.
That said, I'm actually impressed that you were able to avoid social media and the news and all the late night talk shows for long enough to miss this. It was undoubtably good for your mental health.
