I just found out about the foreign (and Colorado) call centers the other day. I called the local Park City number with a question specific to Canyons, and the guy didnt know what that was, and I thought to myself, "HTH do you work for Vail Resorts let alone PCMR and not know what the Canyons is?" Mentioned this to a guy later that day in town at UT Ski & Golf who told me the call rooms are mostly foreign or in CO. Dumfounded. But even in this there's Vail Resorts nuance. I had to call probably 5 or 6 times this summer to sort things out, and every time I got a UT based employee in Park City. So I'm 99.9999% positive Vail only pays for these outsourced call centers for the winter season when call volume probably spikes like 1500% or more.
As for the EPIC pass, it takes literally two minutes at the ticket window if you want a physical version, I got mine in July on the Park City side. Simple process.

I never understood super expensive cell phones. I think it's like small penis syndrome. What will people think if I whip out my phone and it's just a Moto gp? Will they laugh at me? I'm so concerned what the tech snobs think I must have the latest Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max MSRP $2263!A $300 cell phone!! I thought I was the only with one of those!
I was on a ski bus to Stowe a few years ago when a kid dropped his new IPHONE in the chemical toilet in the bus. He was peeing AND texting while the bus was in motion. I initially felt sorry for him until he demanded the driver immediately pull over and dump the tank all over the road. File this under Stupid people/Smart phone

Whoever made the decision to outsource ALL Vail resorts calls to a call center in the Philippines should get a raise. Brilliant move! Vail can save $ by hiring people in a tropical rain forest who have never heard of skiing for $1.50/hr, give them no training and English speaking skills are optional. The website contradicts the call centers which contradicts the email support and contradicts the text messages. People who work for Vail must hate their jobs.

Well, all Vail NH areas are open with Attitash and Crotched opening today. Let's see, Crotched is off the Rocket with 2/3 runs TTB, Attitash is off the Progression Quad only with 2 runs. WTF!!!
