Ouch, I'm guessing that's one line to download Gunbarrel and one for the Tram. I wonder what the download capacity on Gunbarrel is?

Correct, looking at the ski report I don't see anything open in that area. There's only 1 intermediate way down along with what is typically steep bumps. They'll probably pull your pass if you ski down to the snow line and walk the rest of the way.downloading needed because lower mountain isn’t open yet?? Sorry never been there
Hunter lost most of their snowmakers to Belleayre over the last 2 seasons.Neighbor just stated that 1/2 the new snowmakers for Cat/Tash walked out yesterday....
Not surprised from what I've heard re: the new GM's lack of knowledge, except for F&B issues
Ridiculous.....
Colorado?a brand new Audi with a license plate that read, "SKI VAIL".
Its pretty normal for Heavenly to go super late on Upper Cal and not ski down to lake level. How Stagecoach/Boulder lodge is open is beyond me. The mtn is set up super weird and complex. So easy for people to get separated/lost.downloading needed because lower mountain isn’t open yet?? Sorry never been there
Utah ironicallyAll these various geographically diverse "Vail Fails" are intriguing.
So I just came back from Alta. While driving down LCC I met a brand new Audi with a license plate that read, "SKI VAIL". I panicked because I thought it was Rob Katz! Holy shit I hope that he is not scoping out his next acquisition!
For similar reasons, there were all kinds of rumors 3-years ago that Vail wanted to divest of many of the smaller areas in their portfolio. There were rumors to the one about Wildcat recently discussed on this thread, that a bunch of local investors wanted to buy Crotched Mountain from Vail.Sorry guys. I see where the confusion lies. I made a typo responding to Joshua.
"There's a group of private investors willing to buy Wildcat and Vail is interested in selling the area. That isn't because it's a cash cow."
That was supposed to say "isn't"
Despite all the talk on now 507 pages of this thread, I don't see Vail in financial difficulties and if they were, selling CM would not yield them much money. (Neither would Wildcat.) Vail would be far more likely to sell off one of their large western resorts if they needed cash to pay bills. If and when that happens, I will worry about the solvency of MTN.
today at Hunter the 6 pack famously failed again. They got it started, running at half speed and only loading every other chair. All these various geographically diverse "Vail Fails" are intriguing.
Are you not a Wall Street executive?I imagine Vail wont initially sell off properties to "pay bills", but rather to aid gross margins. I bet some of these little properties arent very profitable (if at all).
In terms of their debt, it appears none of it is near-term, it all starts to kick-in starting in 2025.

I noticed Vail removed the 3rd circular widget that used to display the percentage of terrain open.

What if it's a rogue IT dude just fucking with us and Chief Rob hasn't noticed?
The second and third circular widget appear to be identical, 118 / 346 = 34 %, is the third widget supposed to be showing percentage of trails open or percentage of acreage open ?I prefer to think it's a diabolical & intentional way for them to hide the fact that it's January & less than 1/2 their terrain isnt open.
I like to keep, The Empire vibes going.
