Usually March - the base is generally the deepest in the woods in Northern Vermont in March and still plenty of fresh snow falling. Good weather is an added bonus.

I ski every weekend from open to close.(I May miss one this year.) I take a week off in Dec and in March. I take a couple long weekends in March also. So March it is.

March is my favorite month to ski. Deep bases, still chances for fresh, slightly warmer weather, better light.

I don't really keep track, but it's got to be the Jan-Feb-March stretch, evenly throughout, I think.

I spread my skiing out pretty even, much as I can. But, if you want to talk favorite, same here, March, and for the same reasons.

i ski most months pretty evenly, but march is not to be missed. usually some good late season storms mixed in with longer and bright days, warming temps, and full coverage at most mountains. if there was just one month to ski, it would definitely be march.

I voted March because I like it better (snowiest month), but I probably ski in February just as often with the school vacation.

I picked January...mostly because I'm so pent up from withdrawal that those are my best memories.

Usually start heading further from Wa later in the season to chase the snow. So those memories are pretty cool as well.

But I'll get a few days per week in Jan. The colder temps keep the rif raf @ home. Only the dedicated go to Wa when it's in the teens and below.

I go the most during February since I get in a few days during vacation week, but my best ski days so far have been in March.

It's usually tougher for me to go in March, however...by that time, the family is thinking about spring so it's hard to get everyone into going out. :(

March or April. The way my schedule works, I've gotten about 10 days in each of the last few Aprils.
I've never understood why people are so hellbent on skiing some crowded manmade runs in Oct/Nov when the snow is deep, soft, and warm in Mar/Apr. Very strange. I like to pace myself (current conditions at Wildcat notwithstanding!).
