I have skied alot of places in New England and the Northeast only once, but I would like to ski alot of them again, especially with my son.

Suicide Six - alot of variety in a small local hill, nice hidden glade skiing.
Bosquet
Otis Ridge
Blandford
Smugglers Notch
Burke
Big Squaw - if they get the summit chair open again.
Whiteface - skied it once in December 1990, never skied off the summit.
Gore - I skied it with marginal natural snowcover, but I would like to try some glades.
Bretton Woods
Cranmore
Gunstock
Black Mountain Of Maine - cheap skiing rates for 1,100' of vertical
Camden - Great ocean views.
Bobcat

Ahhh. Great thread idea! My list:

Sunapee: I only skied there for 90 minutes with trailboss. Would like to explore it more. It was a nice hill, but at 3:15, kind of far for a day trip for what it is.
MRG: Reasons are obvious . ;)
Magic: Awesome terrain, dead on weekdays. Will revisit after a big dump.

Blackwater
Gunstock (on a better snow day)
Zermatt!!!
Hillend (for some dry skiing...what the hell)
MRG
Cranmore
Wachusett

But there are some places that I have been to only a couple times that I would like to return to as well:

Attitash
Pico
Bolton (now with that new quad)
Stowe

stowe. i was there when goat, national, starr hacketts etc were all closed. and it was about 4 inches of fresh on top of serious glare ice in the woods. not pretty. come to think of it, skiing gondolier all day doesnt really qualify as a trip to stowe.

In the east:
Killington - have only been once as a kid and want to check it out again...midweek of course.
Whiteface - It's only an hour and a half a way or so, so I really have no excuse!

In the west:
Alta - my best ski experience ever was here.

Deer Valley - for the food alone LOL!

My list is very short. Most places that I have been in the East, I have either been multiple times or have no desire to go back. I have not been to enough places in the West but my short list is: Bolton Valley, Squaw, Kirkwood. I would like to hit the last 2 with Pow instead of Boilerplate.

Short list for me too. I did my first two ski days ever at Okemo 3 years ago. I would like to go back to check out other trails besides the novice hill.

In the East: Okemo (been there once, for the VSAA Ski Bums' race this spring, and the cover was thin but solid and even on most of the snowmaking trails despite the weather and time of year).* Probably not on a weekend, though.

Out West: AltaBird (been there on one visit, albeit over several days) and Snowbasin (got down there on one day out of the trip).

My answer as well. I managed to get there when Liftline, the lower half of National, and Goat down from the little cut off from Liftline were open, but I missed all of Starr, the top of Goat, the top of National, Lookout, and all the glades. So of the areas I've only been to once, that's definitely where I'd want to go back.

Edited to add: Like some others, there aren't many ski areas that I've only been to once. Mostly I've either been to places multiple times or never.

We did two days at Alta so I don't know if it qualifies, but it was amazing and we definately want to go back. The food at Deer Valley was phenomenal but if I never skied there again I wouldn't feel deprived.

Smuggs -- only went there once and a lot of the trails were closed.

Snowmass -- Didn't have a chance to ski as much of it as I wanted.

Deer Valley -- Ditto.

MRG, it’s a + 3 hour drive one way. If I had free time, I would go midweek when snow conditions are good.

Loon, didn’t get to explore the place. Went there once with my daughter when she was six. Limited terrain for a beginner, lift lines were packed thus didn't get to ski alot of the trails.

MRG: Went in March after they opened on a foot of snow... I'd like to go on a good Powder day and ski more of the blacks.
Beast: Went on an icy day and only the snowmaking trails were open. I want to ski the natural trails.
Smuggs: A lot of trails I missed the first time and a few I want to do again.
Cannon: Skied most of it, and I'd like to do a lot of them again... didn't get enough front five fill.
Loon: Only skied a few trails and it was very crowded... I'd like to try it on a empty day and ski the trails I missed.

great topic.....

East: Sugarbush. I was actually there twice, but the first time the weather was terrible and my uncle had an accident, so we had to quit early. Second time, great spring skiing, but the terrain was very limited. Definitely did not get the full experience.
MRG: had a great day there a couple of seasons ago, but the snow report described the tree skiing as "fairly horrific". Dust on crust was the norm in the woods. Big, HARD bumps in a majority of the other places. Big, soft bumps would be my preference.

West: Alpine Meadows. Holy crap! The place is nuts. Unfortunately, we left the Tahoe area a day before the epic snows start falling this past Feb/March.
