You've yet to answer one question that's been asked at least a few times; Have you ever even been to Magic?

I also asked in the other thread regarding Magic's pricing. No response yet, which considering his strong opinion of the area, I too am curious about his experiences there to lead to such an opinion.

Again, snowman, how much experience do you have skiing Magic? How often and when was the last time you visited?

Based upon what you value in a resort - high lift and snowmaking capacity, long vert, all the cush amenities, yeah you might not like it there. But have you skied there enough to form an opinion? Just asking

I have to have vaelet service for my Escalade, New lodges, endless groomed cruisers, a Latte at the mid-mountain and the Ritz Carlton at the base. Nothing less is a good value.

I believe someone else asked as well. My impression is that he's never skied Magic...

terrain, snow & proximity. length of season was high on the list. 4 1/2-5 hrs to k every weekend is about my limit. now that the length of season is no longer an advantage, will explore the possibility of the mrv becoming my new home if we can handle the longer ride.
