WILMINGTON, NY — The snow is being made around the clock and with natural snow already fallen, Whiteface is opening for the 2004-2005 skiing and riding season on Saturday, November 20, weather permitting.
Whiteface will offer intermediate skiing and riding on Excelsior, Summit Express, Upper Valley and Lower Valley trails with lift service via the Cloudsplitter Gondola. Expected snow conditions are machine groomed packed powder with an average depth ranging from 8-inches to 22-inches. Beginner/novice trails will not be available.
Whiteface will be open from 8:30 am – 4 pm. Daily lift tickets are currently $38 for adults, seniors and teens. Daily lift tickets for juniors (7-12 years old) are $32.
