I just called Woodbury and they told me that they will be opening at 4pm today with a 6" base and they expect to deepen the base over the weekend. It's not much folks, but it is skiing none the less.

If i had a snowboard lying around, i'd probably give it a shot but not to ski on. I think it would make me jones even harder.

Same here. Some of the guys at Alpine Haus were telling me some pretty interesting stories about Woodbury a few weeks ago when I was getting footbeds done. I really have to check it out.

I have to give them credit, it was only 30F for them last night according to who I spoke to ( I think Rod) and he told me it's not much more than a few turns with some hits. It would be better if they would open with the chairlift, but the face is steep and would probably get skied off quickly.

I forgot to mention that they will be opened from 4pm - 10pm and plan to resume snowmaking later this evening.

Woodbury early season is rope tow serviced skiing with about 100' of vertical drop, 10 -15 turns max.
