bring back tight ski pants! (for the ladies of course)...
There are softshell pants that are closer to this fashion faux pas. Probably as close as you'll get to having your request fulfilled.
And B. You suck.

One of my pet peeves in ski clothing is pants, esp. for guys. They are ALL black!! If you are lucky, you might get a gray or a brown. You have to hunt like hell to find a basic red or blue. Anything more interesting is a rare find. Now, place that against he backdrop of the jackets, which, even for guys, presents many options, in all sorts of patterns and colors, from bland to eye-searing...It doesn't make sense to me.
Its makes me smile, esp. if it is worn with confidence and the skier can back it up.

The ladies, and to a certain extent, the park guys, have it better, but only to a certain degree.
.
Seriously, that is a big pet peeve of mine too.I hear ya. I hate black ski pants. Spent the last few seasons in light grey, but they're getting kinda ratty. Upgraded to tan cargos, but unfortunately, they are too small for me. Scored a pair of cool TNF cargos though in a subtle greyish-green camo pattern (gotta outdo grassi and the houndstooth). Also upgraded to a black Marmot softshell up top and a matte black helmet. Still got the screaming green boots.
I don't make a huge effort with my ski style selection, but try to get things to match somewhat. Regardless, I rarely select anything that's really eye-popping.

And when you do find something interesting, the fit sucks.

I am the sad little person who started a thread on SkiDiva titled....
I am such a jacket slut
I seriously need help.![]()
I wear brown and green when I'm poaching...
I wear red in the back country most of the time..
Two primary things I have for criteria in purchasing a ski jacket to start with (other features also considered after these two things are met)
- It can't make me look like a snow bank(no white)
- It can't make me look like a tree(no black, grey or brown)
This kinda makes me sad because I like some of the brown jackets out there, but I just can't blend, it wouldn't be me.
Dr Jeff, you're assuming that I want help for this condition? Silly boy!
Nearly hunting clothing. How about the white camoflague duds discussed here? :flag:
